2008/2009 activities
· Oct 2007 - June 2009 – English Classes for Beginners (tutor paid by DCC and VEC)
· Mar-Aug 2008 – Information/research workshops with Romanians on their rights and entitlements in Ireland (27 participants) (funded by Community Foundation of Ireland)
· October 2008 – AGM (15 participants)
· 1st of December 2008 – Romania’s National Day gathering (traditional music and food event for 100 participants - supported by Romanian Shops)
· 8th of March 2009 – International Women’s Day gathering (traditional music and food for 55 women, event hosted by Transylvania Restaurant)
· 1st of June 2009 – International Children’s Day celebration (party bags and gifts to 30 children - supported by Romanian Embassy in Ireland and other Romanian Shops)
· Representing Romanian Community of Ireland throughout the year to various seminars, conferences, forums focused on integration
· Information and support on employment rights and entitlements throughout the year to Romanians who called for support
