The Romanian Community of Ireland (RCI) is a voluntary, charitable organisation founded in 1998 to serve as a point of contact for all Romanians in Ireland for cultural and social events and more important to offer them support and information on their rights and entitlements while living in Ireland.
Vision:
* Romanian Community of Ireland Limited is set up to tackle inequalities experienced by Romanians in Ireland, inequalities such as social exclusion, poverty and deprivation.
* Our vision is to set up a drop-in-centre in the city of Dublin which will provide information, advice, publications, training and referral services which will advance the social, cultural and educational development of all Romanians living in Ireland.
Objectives:
* To support Romanians by providing them with information on their rights and entitlements when accessing services in Ireland
* To advocate on their behalf when issues arise
* To work in partnership with other new communities on common issues
* To resource funding for RCI to carry out all the above activities.
