I am still trying to promote the Emerge Skillnets among the Ethnic Community and I would appreciate it if you could send the attached information to your network especially the list that you used to promote the African night.
The Emerge Skillnet will be a training network for a group of ethnic businesses working together to
provide training and networking opportunities for their members and employees.
The Emerge skillnet has received a development grant from Skillnets and will compete for funding at the end of September. Should
we be successful then the network will provide cost effective training for members and employees and the network can receive up to 80%
government funded for training.
This Skillnets programme is funded under the Department of Trade, Enterprise and Employment and funding will be for two years 2008/2009.
Training will take place in Dublin, Cork and Galway.
I am asking for anyone who has a business whether it is a sole trader, partnership or company and wish to become a member of
the training network to get in contact with me before September 7th.
