Celebrating Europe at Farmleigh
Sunday 8th July
10am – 7pm
10am Farmleigh gates open
Farmleigh Gallery opens
Cafe and Restaurant open
Food Market opens
10.30 am Farmleigh House opens

11.00 am E.U. Tented Village opens
Representatives from the 27 European member states will be
on hand to answer any questions you have about their countries
There will be samples of food, drinks, chocolates, literature and music on display from the various countries for you to enjoy
Food Marquee opens
Come and buy a picnic box or enjoy the different types of European
food which will be on sale at the food marquee during the day.
(Picnic areas available)
12 Noon - 3pm E.U. Treasure Hunt
Enjoy the family E.U. Treasure hunt with prizes for the winners
A subtle hint “brush up on your E.U. Knowledge”
1pm – 6pm Street entertainers
Be amazed by a variety of E.U. Street entertainers.
(Not to be missed)
1pm, 2pm, & 3.30pm Ballet Ireland
(Front Lawn)
Enjoy the sheer elegance and beauty of the dancers from
Ballet Ireland as they perform their ballet routines on stage.
2pm Selection of Irish and European Music
(On stage at back of house)
2.30pm Gala Parade(Main avenue)
The Army No 1 band will lead the parade with the
Officers of the Military Police carrying the official
flags of the E.U. Countries followed by Arcana with
their stilt walkers, majestic costumes and
other colourful characters
2pm – 5pm Magic show for all the family
(Open air show in the Paddocks)
Limited car parking available in the Phoenix Park only
The public are advise to use Public Transport which will
be available from the back of Hueston Station and will
bring you directly to Farmleigh. There will also be a return service.
There is no admission charge to Farmleigh
