You are cordially invited to attend the 2 Day National Conference organised by Cairde, New Communities Partnership and Ethnic Minority Health Forum.
There will be a social evening on Sunday Night for people from Dublin and other regions to meet and network.
Monday the 29th of May is the New Communities Partnership National Conference; NCP is holding its first national conference of ethnic minority community activists to develop strategies for the work of New Communities Partnership and to identify ways of building participation.
The morning session will include speakers from New Communities Partnership and a panel discussion with representatives from statutory bodies with a remit for supporting minority ethnic communities. The afternoon session will include workshops on building participation in the NCP.
Tuesday 30th May is the National Ethnic Minority Health Forum Conference, The aim of this conference is to explore how ethnic minority communities can work together to respond to health issues at local, regional and national level.
The morning session will include an overview of regional initiatives by ethnic minority communities from Dublin, Cork/Kerry, Galway and Limerick Regions, and will be opened by Sean Power, Minister of State, Department of Health and Children
The afternoon session will include workshops on strategies for co-operation among ethnic minority communities at a national level.
