DUBLIN INNER CITY PARTNERSHIP - DICP
Join a dynamic organisation dedicated to securing social and economic rights in Dublin’s inner city.
The DICP approach has proved very effective and successful to-date in tackling poverty and social exclusion in the inner city. We now need a worker who will provide policy and information support to the partnership staff team to further develop this important work.
PARTNERSHIP DEVELOPMENT WORKER
This job will be concerned with research, analysis and policy development in relation to the DICP brief, the monitoring and reporting of activities supported by the partnership, the production of its new strategic development plan, and the communication and dissemination of the work of the DICP.
The work will also involve; preparing progress reports, completing case studies, undertaking and/or supervising research projects, maintaining the DICP newsletter and also its website.
Promotional work, informing, identifying and developing new partnership approaches to emerging needs - with particular emphasis in the area of equality and rights based measures – will also form part of this brief.
The person we are looking for will need to have excellent analytical and writing skills; a proven knowledge of research and evaluation methods, experience in the use of performance monitoring systems, and empathy with the strategic aims of the DICP.
This multi-tasked position will require excellent interpersonal skills, the capacity to work on your own initiative, and as part of a small professional team.
Knowledge of relevant computer applications is essential.
