Film romanesc la Dublin

We are very happy to inform you that the film ‘Tales from the Golden Age’, the new film scripted by Palme d’Or winner Cristian Mungiu, will shortly arrive onscreen in Dublin, at the Lighthouse Cinema (http://www.lighthousecinema.ie/) and IFI (Irish Film Institute) (http://www.irishfilm.ie/).
One of the directors, Hanno Höffer, together with the British distributors Trinity, is arriving in Dublin on 30 October in order to be present at the opening night at the IFI for a Q&A session.

The film represents Romanian cinema at its best, as several award-winning Romanian directors have collaborated on its making. It is a funny, poignant and surreal portrait of 1980s Romania, described by the Times as “One of the Top 10 films from Cannes 2009”.

Filmul „Autobiografia lui Nicolae Ceauşescu”, în regia lui Andrei Ujică, a fost distins cu premiul pentru cel mai bun documentar est-european la cea de-a 14-a ediţie a Festivalului Internaţional de Film Documentar de la Jihlava (26 – 31 octombrie), Cehia. Secţiunea în care a fost proiectat filmul reuneşte cele mai bune producţii realizate în Europa Centrală şi de Est. Un film interesant de vazut l-as numi eu
