Our Client in Bucharest
Romanian office is situated in the historic capital city of Bucharest and offers a wide range of professional real estate services from our multi-disciplined team. The offices opened in 2005 in response to increasing client demand for opportunities and investment in the expanding eastern European markets.
Our Client is offering wide range of services in consultancy, asset management, investment, agency sales & lettings, acquisitions, development, and building surveying covering all sectors of commercial property including offices, retail, industrial and distribution, leisure and land.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Responsible for working within our new Project Management team based in Romania, developing our Project Management capability in conjunction with the existing Project Management and Building Surveying teams already based in Warsaw and Prague.
KEY OBJECTIVES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisting in undertaking pre purchase technical due diligence inspections and reports on a range of commercial properties
- Managing a number of existing development monitoring projects for the construction of both new and planned distribution Residential developments throughout Romania
- Working on a number of other projects including repair/ refurbishment and planned maintenance projects
- Working in other Central European countries as the need arises to resource new instructions similar to the above
- Developing the capability of the Project Management team to undertake new instructions and promote the range of services offered
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
Esential Criteria
- Suitable for a newly qualified candidate, with a relevant civil engineering or similar university degree
- Excellent Interpersonal and organisational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a professional team
- Excellent technical knowledge of the construction of all types of commercial properties including defects in construction and construction processes in Romania
- Excellent report writing ability
- Good speaking and writing knowledge of English language is essential
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft word/excel and other IT packages (training can be provided)
EDUCATION:
- Relevant civil engineering or similar university degree is required
COMPENSATION:
The successful candidate will receive a highly competitive and attractive compensation package, which includes a base salary and performance-based bonus.
