Here is something your members and beyond may be interested in - it is the Experiment in International Living (EIL) Travel Awards for 2008 which are being announced on today. The winners will live with local people, most with specially chosen local families, when they travel to Asia and South and North America . These travel bursaries are awarded through an essay or a project competition and comprehensive interview process.

* Japan
* Ecuador
* USA
* Argentina
* Mexico
It also offers Third Level Access Students three bursaries of €3,000 to take part in any EIL volunteer programme. Finally EIL offers five bursaries to young people attending schools, Youthreach Projects or Third Level Access Programmes to take part in the Hong Kong/Ireland Exchange Programme or The Future World Leaders Summit http://futureworldleader.org/ in Washington DC.
